Xlcon Remote Management Services (XRMS)
| |
Built into every XRMS contract is the Xlcon Server Watch feature. With Xlcon Server Watch, server monitoring agents are loaded on every critical server. The monitoring agents constantly track the key components of the server’s health. If one of these components begins to run erratically, an alert is sent to the Xlcon Network Operations Center and an engineer responds to the issue prior to it causing major disruptions to the customer’s network. |
| |
This is an optional feature with an XRMS contract. Similar to that of the Server Watch feature, End Point Monitoring loads agents on the nodes (desktops, laptops, tablets) residing on the network. If a key component on a node reaches a certain threshold, an alert is sent to the Xlcon NOC and an engineer begins troubleshooting. |
| |
Early every morning, a certified network engineer connects to each server and confirms the overall health of the device. Items such as resource utilization, backup success, security updates, and connectivity are verified prior to normal business hours. This allows Xlcon to confront any problems prior to them reducing a customer’s normal business efficiencies. |
| |
Authorized users are given the ability to call into our Xlcon Help Desk during normal business hours (M-F 8-6pm (Saturdays beginning May 1st). A Help Desk Engineer will be available to work with the user to get any issue resolved. Xlcon uses high-level technologies to be able to connect to remote users and troubleshoot problems without the delay in sending someone on-site. If the Help Desk Engineer is unable to resolve the problem in a timely fashion, a Field Engineer will be dispatched to work on the problem. |
| |
Customers are given the ability to name users that are authorized to call into the Xlcon After-Hours Support Line. Individuals will leave a message on our system and can expect a call back within 1 hour from the “on-call” engineer. |
| |
All XRMS contracts include the Xlcon Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions. XBDR allows servers to be backed up periodically during the day to an on-site device. That incremental data is then pushed securely across the internet to redundant data centers off-site. This eliminates the need for an individual to take backups off-site on a daily basis. |
After Microsoft security updates and service packs have been properly verified to run effectively (“White-Listed”) in a networked environment, Xlcon will implement these remotely on all network nodes (servers & end points). |
| |
All XRMS contracts include the Xlcon SPAM Filtering Service. All incoming e-mails are scanned for SPAM and viruses prior to ever reaching the customer’s internal network. Thus adding an extra level of network protection, as well as, protecting valuable bandwidth. Click here for more information on this service. |

Depending on the contract purchased, customers will receive either monthly or quarterly reports detailing the health and efficiency of the network. This will assist in preparing for long-term budgeting of upgrades on the network. In addition, on a semi-annual basis, a member of our business consulting team meets with the customer to review emerging technologies and business needs. |
